Over the years I have painted flowering fruit trees, magnolias, buckeyes, maples, birch, aspen, palm trees, branches heavy with apples, glowing with persimmons. Each kind of tree occupying me for a year, or two or five. I am painting treetops now, with sun and sometimes with birds or squirrels.
